Player 1 Moves Player 2

I'd had configured both controllers on Emulationstation. It can navigate thru menus. But in any games that i'd tried, noticed whatever i do on player 1, it would do the same on player 2. Before this, configuration only see one gamepad, but i was able to solve 2 players fix by adding a line to the "cmdlne": usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040

This is what i'm using:
1x Xin Mo board
2x Zippy joysticks with 8 buttons each

Please add more info about your system, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
After you added the USB quirks command line, did you re-configure your controller again in Emulationstation ?

Yeah, I'd reconfigured the controls again....still same thing.

I had similar bug couple of times but each time it was gone after reboot
