ES - C64 Vice shows only .d64 on game list. Lack of .t64

Hi.
I have my C64 files in one folder called C64 in roms subfolder It's all clear . Installed emulator VICE (obvious). I have about 5K of roms .d64; .t64; crt files all together. Before I go to the C64 submenu i see message below C64 system and it says that there about 5k of roms inside, thats OK for now.
Regarding this informations I see that all my files are supported.

there's no zip files. I know the rule.
But If I go into the menu C64 emulation menu I figured out that there's only .d64 files. I can chose them, load, run and play works fine. But there is no .t64 files shown into the ES C64 submenu. I can play .t64 files if I chose them from the vice menu eg auto mount image or load tape (I'm not sure if I recall the names correctly) They works fine too, i mean tapes. But they dont present in ES menu as an option to chose. I'm not sure if .crt files are there. I have to double check. Is this my ES failure or should I add some options into the some configs or maybe its standard that other than .d64 (flopy disk images) can by run directly form ES menu?

My config:
Retropie 4.4
Pi 3B+
All other stuff not important for this topic

Please help me, as a former breadbin user in my hand was only datasette. Floppy drive was beyond my reach.

The default Emulationstation configuration file has .t64 as enabled extension for the c64 system, so it should work. Did you use the RetroPie image from retropie.org.uk/download or another image ?
You can find the list of supported extensions - per system - in the /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg file, so you can check in your installation if it's enabled.

That's strange.
I do see d64 and dont see t64. I'll check when I go home.
You're wright, its my new build, and Im using berryboot from this distribution

@deodekabokat we don't support 3rd party images - also although we provide berryboot images ourselves we don't support them (We don't recommend using them over the main image).

Now that I've looked over the images there, they seem to host also 3rd party images with ROMs.... Are they really distributing ROMs through BerryBoot ?

Yup I saw information about no supporting berry boot images, I was doing it by my own risk.

Its my first instalation through berryboot. I just wanted to cook entertainment center for my camper based on old 12V monitor for kids and for certain me also. Raspbian, kodi and Retropie. After instalation nothing was looking different than raw retripie.org.uk image. There were no rom included. I installed raw image few days before and didn't face any differends.

I have to dig deeper and check /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg as you mention. For now I have problem with how to h go to es_systems.cfg edit after F4 in retropie. Not familiar with comand line.

@deodekabokat If you're on the command line, you can use mc (maybe you're familiar with the Norton Commander/Dos Navigator/etc. interface) and navigate around the filesystem.
Otherwise, you can copy the file on the ROMs folder and look at it over file shares

cp /etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg $HOME/RetroPie/roms

I'd advise to use the full image - and not the Berryboot variant - if you can spare a SD card for a few days while you tinker with RetroPie.
