emulators that do not work yet at installation on Odroid Xu4

@kara please try the suggestion in the other topic you opened specifically for
lr-mupen64plus
. I would like to confirm that patch works for you. Thanks! -

@kara thanks a lot for uploading and providing these build logs.
They can be very useful to help improve ODROID XU4 compatibility. However, please don't expect these things to be fixed quick or soon, many developers here don't have ODROID boards and is very difficult to sort out things blindly.
Hopefully with your help and time from volunteers in this forum, most of these things can be ironed out. -
lr-mame
seems to fail because of insufficient memory, maybe more memory is needed for Odroid.Removing additional swap Adding 6 MB of additional swap Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 6 MiB (6287360 bytes) no label, UUID=a57d5391-3284-4f23-ae0d-fc418999165e GCC 7 detected fatal: No names found, cannot describe anything. I think
mame2016
andmess2016
are also not compilable on the Pi (https://github.com/libretro/mame2016-libretro/issues/20 - it's the same repo for both).lr-hatari
should build now, thanks to @hhromic. -
I only have the ppsspp and lr-ppsspp emulators running to finish my odroid xu4 image, possibly lr-mrboom, lr-mame2016 and lr-mess2016. Everything else is much less important!

odroid magazine has an interesting article on the compilation of ppsspp on odroid xu4, I have not tried to compile it this way yet :

After a lot of tests on the execution of emulators compiled, I am frankly disappointed, a lot of work for nothing, many emulators do not work!
3do emulator freezes on some games,
lr-mupen64plus freezes on some games,
lr-desmume2015 has a problem of xbox driver and constantly displays messages to the execution,
ppsspp despite a correct installation does not appear in the menu (through the package installation script), mystery ?,
lr-mrboom despite a proper installation does not appear in menu (through the package installation script)! like the others ports,
dreamcast emulator (reicast) hangs on the screen date / time and refuses to go further. In short, much too much bugs on Xu4, I will be forced to abandon this idea! It seems that the Odroid Xu4 does not really interest retropie community, the development seems to remain at its smallest contribution ...
I will think I move towards a distribution batocera, although Retropie interested me greatly!
I liked its modular aspect, with emulators added as modules without having to compile the whole.
The same system as Retroarch, which unfortunately does not work well either (lakka tested, psp, dreamcast do not work well on odroid)it's weird, Dreamcast and Psp emulators are not integrated properly in these distributions, although they work well, independently on the odroid xu4q via a simple linux

I will still please hhromic: emulator lr-mupen64plus-nextcore despite small delays, works well on Xu4, it's even the only N64 emulator that works! (no problem of texture or shadows)
