why i only have retropie configuration

so folowed a retropie tuturial on youtube but his version was older then mine so had some trubble configurating xbox wireless controller and i cant select games only see retropie configuration cant switch to any emulator can someone help me pls tell me

Please add more info about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Games will not appear in your system unless you copy them over to your system - as explained in the docs - , there's no games included in the RetroPie image.
