      Model: Pi 3 b+
      Power supply: 5.1V
      RetroPie v4.4
      Berrybooted
      Not overclocked

Hello, I have an old CRT from my infancy, and I'm trying to make my raspberry work on it for emulation.

Because SCART is the only type of connection the TV has, I might have rushed a little and bought these two (links to the products):
HDMI to SCART converter - https://www.allekabels.be/hdmi-omvormer/1792/1351560/hdmi-en-mhl-naar-scart-converter.html
Male to male SCART cable - https://www.ebay.com/itm/262805508110

Unfortunately, the only result I had was this colored screen with a "No signal found" message:

I believe its no fault of the hardware I ordered (could be wrong), because after searching around I noticed I might need to change some configurations on the Pi. The problem is, everyone seems to use different cables from the ones I have and its just leaving me confused on exactly what I have to do...

Are these two adapters proper to make the Pi work on my old CRT?
If so, what configs do I have to change?
      Thank you for your time.

@somguy the settings you are looking for are probably here:

        https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/video.md

However with a converter like that there is a good chance of adding more input lag while playing games because the video signal is being converted from digital to analog.

You may be better off getting a 3.5mm composite cable and converting that to scart.

Most likely you'll need to modify the /boot/config.txt and force the GPU to ignore the EDID + set up a specific video resolution. See https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/video.md.

Thanks for the answers, I'll be sure to leave the results here when I to try it out.
Hopefully the input lag is not so severe, teaches me to investigate more before jumping to ebay...

If you have a bit of spare cash (~40EUR) get this: http://arcadeforge.net/Pi2Jamma-Pi2SCART/PI2SCART::264.html
              or this http://www.rgb-pi.com/
These are dedicated RGB solutions for SCART TVs. No lag and 1:1 amazing picture quality.
