It said to check /home/pi/retropie-setup/logs/rps_2019-02-19_255419.log.gz, but I don't know what I am looking at. I attached it here if anyone could help? I noticed Kodi could not be installed form Binary and some other file I could not recognize. I was just doing routine updates via RetroPie setup.

      Here is my file

The only error I see in the log is related to Kodi.

        Reading state information...
E: Unable to locate package kodi-vfs-libarchive
E: Unable to locate package kodi-vfs-sftp
E: Unable to locate package kodi-vfs-nfs
Unable to install binary for kodi

Since you're on Raspbian Jessie, you get this errors because these packages are only available with the new Kodi 18 in Raspbian Stretch. Does Kodi work after the update ?

@mitu I dont use Kodi for anything, so I could probably uninstall it. I was just curious about errors in general.

On second thought, I swear I upgraded to Stretch? How am I still on Jessie?

How did you upgrade ? The package repositories still point at the Jessie release, so I doubt you upgraded the OS.

@mitu I just went through Retropie Setup and updated. I guess it didn't work? Weird.

RetroPie setup will not upgrade your OS release - it's not meant to do that.

Looks like it's gonna be time to invest in a 3B+ and start over. Do you have any tips on how to migrate (metadata, artwork, settings) without too much hassle of reconfiguration?

This topic has a lot of good info about migrating to 4.4 on a new image.
