      Hello everyone,

I'm trying to setup a playlist for some PS1 game. Scanning doesn't recognize anything. It's probably because the name of my roms doesn't match the database (.rdb).
For example: Dead or Alive. My rom name is "Dead or Alive (Europe).zip". It's not recognize when I scan my game. Where to find the right name I need to use to match the rdb?

I can use the Playlist Buddy generator, but it will only create a playlist, but with wrong roms naming, so in the end I won't have any thumbnails downloaded.

Tl;dr: where can I find the proper naming for the rom in order to have thumbnails downloaded.

      Have a nice sunny day!

Probably here - warning, it's a large file.

I haven't used this, but I think that the list is named according to the .RDB - http://thumbnails.libretro.com/Sony - PlayStation/.

Take a look also at https://docs.libretro.com/guides/roms-playlists-thumbnails/ - I think it was recently updated (by @markwkidd) - and it might help clear up some things.

@mitu Thanks a lot for your help. I did the correct naming from the .dat list, and found "Diablo". However, this game is recognized but there's no thumbnails available. If I check the https://docs.libretro.com/guides/roms-playlists-thumbnails/ link, I can't find "diablo" at all! Weird, it's a famous game. A part from this game, your dat file helps me a lot to get my playlist working. Thanks for that. :)

It's not my dat, it's created by the Libretro project. Take a look at the doc explaining where an how the thumbnails should be placed - I assume you already downloaded them. I don't use RA's playlists, so I wouldn't know if you need to download them or they're downloaded automatically (?).
