Guys please can some one offer some advise. I am trying to run dreamcast on my retropie latest version(RPI3) i have installed reicast, rebooted, ran reicast update, rebooted. place soul calibur and few other roms in roms\dreamcast and dc_boot.bin d407fcf70b56acb84b8c77c93b0e5327
      dc_flash.bin
      93a9766f14159b403178ac77417c6b68
      in bios folder.

It will not boot into dreamcast bios (system manager) It will try and boot, then dumps me back to dreamcast game folder, i have tried as much as i can, will never boot.

retropie states what bios files to use and these are correct

Can you provide an emulator log file (/dev/shm/runcommand.log), taken exactly after you run the game ?

make sure the dc_boot.bin & dc_flash.bin are placed here:-

          /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/dc

I did try that, and was then prompted to install place bios files when loading up system manager
