      Hi,

When I am making a new post like this one or replying to another post, in the input box, the bottom is cut off beyond the edge of the screen and I am not able to see it. I am also not able to scroll down, though I am able to keep typing invisible text and the cursor has no issue. If I resize to a smaller window, the responsive css kicks in and I get a large text input, so that allows me to keep typing, but I think there is an issue in computing height in the class="row write-preview-container" div. If I edit that value, I am able to fit the box on screen.

I am on a laptop, macbook air 11", running chrome. I checked firefox and this issue also occurs there. I also tried fullscreen, but some of the input is still cut off.

Here is a screen cap. The bottom is the bottom of my screen, and I am unable to scroll down in the comment area, or scroll down within the text input.

      alt text

Yes, thank you, that does function as expected. I am also able to workaround the offscreen text by minimizing or setting user agent to something mobile, so there are several ways to get around this. I wasn't trying to imply the system was unusable, but that possibly the responsive css was making a bad computation for height for some screen sizes, since the page looks different on a 13" macbook.

If this is expected functionality, please ignore.

@lwszolek the composer does have some room for improvement I agree, I think there will be an update to the forum software sometime in the next few months which may include a few improvements to the composer but I'm not sure how extensive they'll be.

I have this issue too, on an iPad, the on screen keyboard covers up half the composer box.

Look forward to an update :)

Please report any bugs with nodebb here - https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB - we are using the "Persona" theme and the default composer. Composer bugs can go to https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-plugin-composer-default - we are running nodeBB 1.0.3 currently.
