      Hello,
I have a RP3b running v 4.4. I’m using skyscraper for the artwork. This is not a problem, but a request. I would like to copy the game’s screenshot (or marquees, etc.) to a filesystem path at launch of game from within emulationstation.

The purpose for this would be I’d like to setup another pi (or pis) with a dedicated screen to display the artwork while the game is played. I would have that pi looking for this path via network for the file to display (I can figure this part out).

Ideally, this could happen on a hover over or current game selected, but that feels harder to do.

If there is any other way to do this, I’d be interested as well.

      Thanks!

@basis When a game is started, it executes the runcommand-onstart script, you can use it to get the media path and copy it wherever you need. https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/#runcommand-onstart-and-runcommand-onend-scripts.
