I’m new with retro pie and I tried to get my ipega spider to work and I think I messed something up while doing so. I can’t use any form of any controller in a game or In retroarch

Please add more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
Is the controller detected and configured by Emulationstation ?

@mitu yes I configured it and it works fine with EmulationStation. But it doesn’t work when I try to load up a game. I have a b+ Running version 4.4

Check to see if this old topic might be of help. These iPega controllers are wonky.

@mitu yeah , but it’s not only the ipega, my keyboard 8bitdo or anything else wont work. Before nothing worked I tried changing the joypad driver setting in retroarch and I accidentally changed the input driver too. I changed them both to something like ssdl it was something like that. But now when I try to go into retroarch to change it back to undev I can’t move or do anything while I’m in the menu

@averagecupofjo3 Then reset back the input driver to udevusing a keyboard. If you don't have one, then reset your controllers from
Retropie Setup Script >> Manage Packages >> Manage Core Packages >> EmulationStation >> Configuration / Options >> Clear / Reset EmulationStation Input Configuration.

Reset also the RetroArch default configuration file by copying retroarch.cfg.rp-dist over retroarch.cfg in the /opt/retropie/configs/all folder.
