System Will No Longer Boot
-
Pi Model or other hardware: 3
Power Supply used: CanaKit 2.5A
RetroPie Version Used: 4.3
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: Keyboard and 2 Logitech Controllers
Recently I have been having issues with my Pi booting into RetroPie. It will stop at the line in the screenshot and just sit there. At first if I unplugged it and plugged it back in, RetroPie would boot up and everything worked fine. Now it will not boot at all. I assume that something as corrupted the files system. Any way to fix? Thanks for your help.

Try to force and filesystem check/fix - see https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/61723/raspberry-pi-3-and-raspbian-jessie-how-to-run-fsck-at-boot.
But if your card is physically corrupted - pulling the plug repeatedly wasn't doing it any good - and the filesystem check would not be able to fix the errors. -
I followed that advice prior to posting my original request, forgot to mention it.
Is there any way to recover some of the saved game states from the SD card?
What might have caused the initial problem?
