    Updated the script to 4.4.12 and I lost video screen saver suport?

      So i stared with a fresh image off the the website and i updated script to 4.4.12 and even installed what ever cores i wanted. When i installed my roms, images and snap files. My video screen saver glitches by playing a sec of the video and then it cuts off. Has anyone else have the same issue please advice what i can do to fix it please.

        Please provide more info about your system, as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

        Are you using the accelerated video player (omxplayer) ?

          Ia m sorry. I am using a fresh image from the site so that would be "retropie-4.4-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz" on a 8gb sd card just so that i can start small with no roms for now.
          I AM using the accelerated video player (omxplayer). What i do is begin fresh and then i update the script from 4.0 to 4.4.12 and what happens is when I load in roms and images and snaps. The snaps (videos) when set from the screensaver options. Are getting cut off in the beginning of each play. I didn't have the issues when i was in 4.4.11 but since i have updated which i should have never done i am unable to solve my problem. Let me know if you need more info or some type of video to show the problem.

            @KingANG1972 The screensaver is part of Emulationstation, but there haven't been any substantial changes to it since before 4.4.11.
            4.4.11 version dates from 25.03.2019, the only change in Emulationstation after 25.03 was just a patch for axis calibration, which doesn't have any influence on the screensaver functionality.
            Are you able to play the videos with omxplayer from the command line without problems ? Are the videos shown correctly in the gamelist previews ?

            EDIT: What controller are you using ? maybe the change in Emulationstation 2.8.3 has an effect in your setup.

              @mitu I never tried playing them with omxplayer from command line i am sorry still new to all of this. I been working on this image from scratch for a few months now and just when i thought i was done i went and updated the script and this is what happened. The videos do play in the gamelist previews just fine. its when the screen saver kicks in is when i get the issue. This image is for an arcade1up cab and i use the screensaver option so that in can just run when i am not using it.
