Since a few days ES throws the following error while scraping with "Screenscraper" from the ES menu:

ScraperHttpRequest network error (status: 2) - SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

I changed nothing at my setup, Rpi3b+, all the latest packages.

      Anyone else having this problem?

@mth75 Seems like the an API site problem - they've changed their SSL certificate again and the name doesn't match. I'll take a look.

It's because of their change of SSL settings, it's something that needs handled on the Emulationstation side. There's a pending PR to fix the error, I'll update the topic when it's accepted and the issue is fixed.

@mth75 You might already be familiar, but in the meantime I've been running Skyscraper from the command line, which still works flawlessly. Less convenient, but a temporary scraping solution until the issue gets fixed.

Took me like one day to understand what's going on... until I digged in the logs... Funny enough selph's scraper worked on a new set rpi 3B+ that I set for a friend of mine...

The issue is solved in the development branch of Emulationstation, if you don't want to use an external scraper then you can install the emulationstation-dev package from the experimental package section to get the fixed version.
