Xbox one controller not working in emu

Hi,
I made everything to get the Xbox one controller work. Is working fine in the emulation station, but not when I open an game. Zero button (read that the mapping the buttons at the beginning is just for the Emu station, have to do it again in retroarch, but cannot select with the controller, confusing because all other controller working without doing that)
When I use my fully working ps3 controller and start a 2 player game, log in the Xbox one controller, than it's working.
All other controller no problem at all, Xbox 360, ps3 and ouya.
Maybe an idea how to get an Xbox elite controller? Anything special to do?

@Sldb Are you connecting via bluetooth? If so, try installing the xpadneo drivers. It works much better for xbox one controllers connected through bluetooth.

@Sldb Please provide more information about your setup - including the exact Xbox One controller model - as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

@quicksilver I had a working Xbox 360 controller via Bluetooth doongle, working PS3 controller. I did what you said. Installed xpad driver. Ps3 not working anymore, Xbox 360 not proper anymore. Deinstalled it. Now nothing is working anymore,
not even the keyboard. What to do now? -
@Sldb please post all the info that was requested of you. Which model of Xbox one controller are you using? It's in the battery compartment. Are you connecting via USB or Bluetooth?
