Amiga system not showing up.
-
Hi,
I'm new in this forum. I have the same problem with the Amiga in Emulation Station.
Some days ago I did the rpi-update and than my sound was gone. So I decided to set up a new installation via PINN. Sound is back, Amiga is gone.
Before the re setup I saved my roms, config, bios ... and before all of this I used the scraper tool by Stephen Selph with the option, that gamelists should be placed in the roms folders. Maybe this is the reason of this issue, but I'm not able to find a solution..
I recognized that es_systems.cfg in ~/.emulationstation/ is missing the amiga entry, so I copied it from /etc/emulationstation/ (where I could find this entry).
That also didn't help.
Btw: yes, I installed Amiberry and UAE4ARM as described above, copied roms and kickstarts, where they belong to. And I had the Amiga Platform visible before the rpi-update.
I also can start the bash - files in roms/amiga from the console (when I exit ES by pressing F4). From there I can use my old setup which I saved before rpi-update.I really hope there's some help for me.
Thanks in advance

EDIT: I moved your message from the previous topic (opened more than 2 years ago) - please don't just bump old topics.
Related to your problem - try removing/renaming your custom
es_systems.cfg
from the~/.emulationstation/
folder and restart Emulationstation. -
@mitu Thanks for moving my topic. This forum seems to be different to other ones - there you must not open new topics (admins become very unpolite because of this). But okay, now I know.
I have no idea why, but suddenly it works. I tried so many things today and now I'm not able to say which one helped me out.
This is what I can remember:
- Moving es_systems like you said
- 'Parce gamelists only' switched on/off (now it's off) (you find it in ES settings -> other settings)
- Updating all packages
- Using again Selphs Scraper
I found some good advices here:
