      Im running retropie 4.4 in ubuntu 18.04.2 in a c64 machine

      I'm trying to mnt /opt/retropie in a network samba share but I'm getting issues.

      //servername/sharename /media/windowsshare cifs username=<Username>,
      password=<password>,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm,uid=clientusername,gid=clientgroupname,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,vers=3.0,soft,mfsymlinks 0 0

      I added this in fstab permissions are 777 to all users but emulationstation refuses to run. Do any user have any suggestion to make this work?

      When I try to run emulationstation through terminal in local machine it say I have no permission even I am the administrator user

        You can get a set of verified mount options from the docs. Try it - in your /etc/fstab file - and see if work with those options.
