      hi at all,

I just noticed my PlayStation classic can do rewind without a problem. Can retropie do that, too? I am on RA 1.7.7 on the PSC. My pi 3b+ is on the newest build. I couldn't find that feature, yet.
Cannot wait for your hints. Thanks in advance!

@naddel81 Yes, RetroArch can on RetroPie can do that too, however since it has an impact on performance, it's disabled by default on the Pi.

can this be enabled easily? the PlayStation Classic can do it wonderfully on PSX games. Although the games do stutter when "enhanced resolution" is enabled (for example in Crash Bandicoot). The Pi however does play those games nicely.
Does it have more power? Won't "rewinding" work even better than on PSC in this case?

Or is it not that simple to conclude to the general compute power just because one feature does not work that well (enhanced resolution for the PSC)?

@naddel81 I'm not familiar with the PS Classic, but I don't think it would be better on the Pi. To enable rewind, you'll need to modify the RetroArch config file (/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg) and switch the rewind_enable from false to true.

Let me know if you notice any PSX slowdown with rewind. I always assumed PSX would take quite a hit but have always been curious if it would slow it down a bunch.
