N64 EMU CHANGED BUT WANT CHANGE BACK!
-
i've pressed every dam button I could trying to get the emulator screen up so I could change emulators and nothings happening any ideas how I can change my emulator manually?
-
So you have to have a controller and it has to be the first recognized controller that has a button that is actually button 0. Some controllers dont have one and some are stupid numbered buttons. My playstation controller button 0 is actually the button on the left analog. But manually you can ftp into it and go to /opt/retropie/configs/n64/emulators.cfg and change the default to the emulator you want.

is there any chance of instructions on how to ftp like I know I could google it but Im more confused about how to go opt/retropie/configs/n64/emulators.cfg like is that exactly what I type in and do I type it in all at once?

You might need to read through the RetroPie FAQ page:
https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/FAQThis is how you remote into the Raspberry Pi from another computer (or device):
https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/sshAfter you remote into the Raspberry Pi, you can editing that configuration file mentioned above by typing this in at the command line:
sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/n64/emulators.cfg
when you've made your changes, press Ctrl+x to save.
