What shader are you trying to load ? What video_driver are you using ?

Shaders should be automatically downloaded by the RetroPie-Setup script and you should be able to browse the list and load them from the RGUI - using the 'Shader' menu.

Hello Mitu thank you for your answer :)

I downloaded the shader snes_hq2xwaterpaintscanline.glslp & I put it in the folder opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/shaders but he does not load ?!

Can not install a shader manually ?

@Sebiohazard A .glslp file is a Shader Preset, not a shader per-se. You would need also the additional .glsl files referenced in the shader preset.
The shader is aleady included in the list of shaders in RetroPie, you don't need to download it, you can find it in the retropie shader folders.

The shader is already present in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch/shaders/retropie/ in a default installation. You need to use the RetroArch RGUI to load it, using the Shaders -> Load Shader preset menu.
How are you trying to load the Shader ? Here's a handy

showing you how to load a shader.
