Kiosk Mode Option Not Available

I don't have the option available from the menu in emulationstation. AFAIK everything is updated. Can I just add a line to the es_settings.cfg file?
Edit: I added the line <string name="UIMode" value="Kiosk" /> to es_settings.cfg but it didn't work

You may have an older release of Emulationstation without that feature. Include in the information provided the Emulationstation version.
