Ever since I updated to 3.7 the emulator stucks at the emulationstation screen which flashes fast and never proceeds.
I am able to exit by pressing F4 which also takes a lil bit of time to return to command prompt.

Upgraded through the update script process and binary installation.
Rpi 3, all files in a Kingston 32 gig sd, berryboot backup image that worked fine a few hours ago before the update.
Don't know if it helps but I just scrapped through the command prompt for pictures before the update.

So, it turned out it was that emulationstation bug of "white skin of death"... Or it was "screen of white death"?... Anyway sorry for bloating for no reason.

@senkun Ha. Thanks. Mind you any combination of them makes total sense anyway... As long as you read the wiki top to bottom.
