PS3 Controller not working in AdvMAME

I have a PS3 controller set up and it works great except in AdvMAME. Once I am in a game, the controller does nothing. In the other MAME emulators, it works great. Is there some setup that I am missing?

AdvMAME isn't a Libretro core so it doesn't use the global configuration. It sounds like you just need to hit TAB once in any game and configure the inputs. You'll probably need a keyboard the first time to get it setup.
