Big problems with Simcoupe

Hello everyone :)
I would like to point out some big problems with the emulator SAM Coupe (Simcoupe)

With the Raspberry the controller is a lot of problem but with RetroPie Ubuntu it works why ?! An example when you press left or down it opens emulator options... it's impossible to play !!!

In the documentation of RetroPie Simcoupe supports .sad extensions but actually it is not true to see image...
