        @shavecat I had this problem a while ago and the only way I could fix it (and I'm assuming you're using the WHDLoad files) was to delete the config for the games that were causing a problem (Xenon 2 Megablast was a particularly annoying one) and reload them. Don't ask me how to do that right now as I'm at work but when I get home I'll have a look.

            @shavecat Okay, so here is what I did:

            Using an FTP client navigate to:

            /opt/retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot/game-data

            There edit the whdload_db.xml file.

            Find the game(s) you are having trouble with and then delete the entry for that game. Be sure to only delete everything from the <game filename> to the </game> tags inclusive and nothing more. For example:

            <game filename="BuckRogers_v1.2_De_0445"  sha1="af19ef1a2ba2ff1aa37da971aa1490cb90c23612">
                    <name>Buck Rogers (Deutsch)</name>
                    <subpath>BuckRogersDe</subpath>
                    <variant_uuid>2e469bcd-16e7-51e0-a951-ee5d3ed8a7ec</variant_uuid>
                    <slave_count>1</slave_count>
                    <slave_default>BuckRogersDe.slave</slave_default>
                    <slave number="1">
                        <filename>BuckRogersDe.slave</filename>
                        <datapath>data</datapath>
                    </slave>
                    <hardware>
                    PRIMARY_CONTROL=JOYSTICK
                    PORT0=JOY
                    PORT1=JOY

                    </hardware>
                </game>

            After making your edits, restart Emulationstation and then try to load the games again. Hopefully that should've fixed your problem. Don't ask me how it ended up that way in the first place, but IIRC that is how I fixed the problem myself.
