Error initializing SDL

Hello!
I've installed Retropie 4.5.1 on Raspbian Buster Lite(latest version + updated) and if I try to run "emulationstation" I get an error about initializing SDL.
I am using a Raspberry pi zero with a Wi-Fi dongle and a keyboard. -
Buster is not fully supported at the moment, you should use the image provided at retropie.org.uk/download, based on Rasbian Stretch. Any particular reason you're trying out Buster ?

@mitu Not really, just wanted to use a up to date image.
