Hi, this is a followup from this topic
The splashscreen randomizer stops working every time the RetroPie updater is run.
Is this still happening for everyone?
      Thanks

I think it's a bug in the module. The configuration is stored in the script itself, so during an update of the script, the settings are reset to default.

Good to know, thanks @mitu. Do you know if it's in scope to be resolved in a future update?
I can always go for a single splashscreen until that day comes :)

Can't say it is - but who knows :).

its a bug ... after each update, you will need to go to the spashscreen settings and make sure to change them to whatever it was already set to and the problem will be solved.
