Hello, I have an installation of retropie on ubuntu. Tagged a few games as kid games and switched to kid ui. Everything works well until a restart. A message comes up saying UI has nothing to show reverting back to Full UI. I'm assuming the kid game setting is not saving somehow. Any ideas?

I'm not at a pi but if you press Start in Emulation Station there is an option somewhere in the menus to "Save Metadata on Exit" make sure that is turned on.

I want to say it's under other options or something like that.

@simpleethat That sounds like it could be exactly what it is. I need to check this. Thank you very much. I'm obviously very new to this . thanks!

@xpvenom no worries. When I get home I'll check where it actually is I'm the menu and let you know.

@xpvenom So I just checked and it is under "Other Options" in the ES menu.

Also, you might want to restart to make sure the metadata gets saved before changing over to the Kids mode.
