      Hi all

I am running retropie 4.5.1 on top of Lubuntu 18.04.3 and am experiencing system wide crashes after so long. I have tried a few games and 3 different emulators but every time I am 9 mins 43 secs into a game, the screen goes blank, the system freezes and I have to power off to re-boot.

The PC is a crappy Lenovo 300 Yoga and I am using a INext SNES type game controller. I installed the pre-built image, following the guide on the retropie website for Ubuntu installs.

Any ideas what is wrong? It works absolutely fine up until that point.

It might be a video driver issue - can you install a game from the distro (like Extreme Tux Racer) and see if you have the same behavior ?

Well I tried extreme tux racer and 0AD but didn't encounter any problems. Any other thoughts?

@Kanga40 Without an error/crash message is hard to say what's at fault. Have you tried running a memtest/cpu test to make sure there's nothing hardware related ?

Have done now. Its giving me no errors. Guess I will just have to reinstall and see if that fixes it. Thanks for your help.
