Hi friends! I'm using the latest Retropie build and the lr-prboom is not running smoothly 60fps as is retropie 4! Is there a way to use the previous lr-prboom and if affirmative can you teach me how to do it?

to get it right: you are trying to run lr-prboom on a RaspberryPi4 using the latest retropie build?
There is no retropie build for the RaspberyPi4 out yet, so it seems you installed an unofficial build?

sorry, what i meant was retropie version 4.0! I used to run lr-prboom smoothly on my pi 3b+ using retropie version 4.0, but the newer retropie version is not running smoothly anymore

old retropie builds = lr-prboom running smoothly at 60fps
new retropie build = lr-prboom not running smoothly, even with settings set at 60fps

It's not only RetroPie that changed over the years, but also prboom. There's now a core option for the FPS (I think the original Doom ran at 30 or 35FPS), check if yours is set to 60 FPS.
Also, when opening a help topic, please add more info about your system and setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
