Make keyset permanent with Vice

I'm running some C64 games with the Vice add-on and right now, I have to manually define e.g. Keyset 1 to whatever keys I'm using and point the joystick device to this each and every time I launch a new game. Is there a way of making this permanent?

Please add more info about your system as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Are you using the Libretro core or the standalone Vice emulator ?
