Hello all, new to this so please bear with me. First off I'm not a computer guy at all. I believe I have a raspberry pi 3, not completely sure it was given to me by a friend. Anyway I'd like to play the retropie but I'm tired of using the cheap little controllers with the 2 foot cords that came with it. I've tried to set up some wireless ps3 knockoffs getting help from YouTube vids but just ended up frustrated because I couldn't make them work. So I had the bright idea to take a ps2 controller and a snes controller, buy extension cords for them, and adapters to make the ends USB. Thought I could just plug and play like the stupid controller that came with it but they do absolutely nothing. Is this even possible? What the heck am I doing wrong? Please help! Thanks

@tg4466 you need to configure the new controllers. Luckily it’s easy. Plug the original controller in at the same time with the new ones and press start on emulationstations main menu. You will see configure controllers. Hold down a button on one of the new controllers and follow the prompts on what button to configure. Now you can use the new controllers.
