      Hi I just got my pi up and running today but have broken it already. I tried installing lxde and then chose to boot to desktop which worked fine. I then switched it to console text and have the following problems. I did a search on here but didn't find a similar problem.

      It loads to menu but when I go the the rertropie item to configure it, the screen zooms in and goes dim and does nothing. Also at the menu pressing f4 to access the terminal but it just loads a screen with a flashing line at the top left corner.

      Pi Model: 3
      RetroPie Version Used: 3.8 I think
      Built From: pre installed SD Image
      USB Devices connected: controller and keyboard
