MAME ROW stands for MAME Random Of the Week. We randomly select an arcade game from the 0.78 MAME Reference Set to play on the week. The idea is to play games we've never played before, interact with other forum members, post hi-scores, share game strategies, fun facts, and (the most important) HAVE FUN!
We're still working things out with the new MAME ROW structure. We will play the winner all next week.

Ali Baba is not currently emulated properly in any version of MAME. The mystery items do not work.
-
Well, I know one I will NOT be voting for. Joust II was just AWFUL.
-
@VictimRLSH Joust II is kinda like Joust in gameplay...in fact I think it's exactly like Joust, but it's been a while. Joust (1982) is a classic arcade game, but the 1986 sequel just doesn't really do anything with the concept except use different stages. Nintendo's Balloon Fight (1984) was a fantastic rip-off with great controls.
Is it any wonder that "Arcade1Up" would include the original Joust in their initial arcade cabinet? https://arcade1up.com/products/rampage It's a classic.

Good selection of games.
I cannot shake off the feeling that we lost a good amount of titles in the previous MAME ROW, so please remember to carry these over to a future session. -
@AndersHP So you would like to see previous "losers" return as options?
-
@IanDaemon I would say only losers that received votes. Especially ones that lost close votes.
-
Nah, nobody is stopping you from playing these games any time you like. But I think one of the purposes of MAME ROW is to try new games. If we only play classics it defeats that purpose.
If you have a favorite, you can start a separate thread for playing and discussing that game. -

So in Cross Pang...
(full) + (full) = (full) & turtle
turtle + (empty) = (full)Right?
