Hello, first post and I read the forum rules so please don’t burst me into flames if I forgot to post some form of information.

I nodded an arcade1up cabinet with a pie3b+. My main goal is to focus on fighting game emulation.

I followed the instructions here and got the whole install loaded onto a 126gig sd card. I have not done anything outside of loading some .78 mame roms on it and so far nearly everything is running pretty smoothly. I’m also running the zero delay encoder and joystick set recommended on these forums.

I wanted to run MVC2 and doing some searching led me to the conclusion that using reicast to emulate the Dreamcast version of the game would be better than trying to find a nicely functioning mame rom.

So, using some internet guides I got Reicast installed. I could not get it to recognize the bios files until I put them in a directory in the Bios directory labeled “dc”.

Now when I go into the menu in pie I see Dreamcast listed, I also see “start reicast” and the game listed as well.

So when I run the utilities and map the controls it doesn’t seem as though it’s saving them because the game appears to load and going to the reicast menu also appears to work, however It doesn’t accept any button inputs that I previously mapped including the “exit” button.

Has anyone run into this in the past?
