      Ok so this video

got me thinking....I just found out about the world of shadow pc. Is there some way the brilliant minds / creators here could think of to get retro pie running on a shadow pc environment?

There’s always questions on the forum like can the pi 3b+ or pi4 run this or that emulator. What if someone could use the pi3b+ or pi4 to load up shadow pc (or some similar service that simulates a PC without needing to buy a beefy computer, since after all that is part of the reason we are tinkering with a pi in the first place) and then retro pie loaded onto the shadow pc to auto start to retropie? From blindly googling around, for instance, I found this link: https://gitlab.com/NicolasGuilloux/shadow-live-os. Not sure if that helps maybe.

I guess the dream would be, buy a pi 3b+ or pi 4 for $35 bucks, pay only $12.99 per month for shadow pc (or similar) and be able to use retropie on an arcade setup to play Dreamcast, N64, PSP at full speed as well as a ton of other systems that typically draw groans from the crowd when mentioned in the “maybe piX will make (insert emulator) playable!” sentence (wii, ps2, GameCube, mame 2016).

Anyhow leave it to all of you who are 100x smarter than me to think about this.

@BJRetro also tagging @MrLightgun on this thought. Andy, consider implications for Sinden Lightgun for people without powerful enough PCs to run advanced emulator cores. May want to test and see if your software works with it.
