Retropie won't load content/roms after using Skyscraper
-
Hi
Ran skyscraper(screenscraper), made gamelist etc for my roms(daphne, nes, snes, n64, psx amd scummvm that worked perfectly). Rebooted and the roms being loaded where suddenly atari 5200, daphne, nes, snes, n64 and pcengine...???...how did this happen? 5200 is loaded with games, I dont have any roms in that folder and non of the games work for either roms...I checked my sd card and their is no change to the roms-folders (only new folders with scraping info)...any fix to this?...please help and thank you π

Your topic title is not the same as the problem you're reporting - are the ROMs no longer working when you launch them OR you have new ROMs appearing in the fronte-end (EmulationStation) for the systems where you phyically have not ROM files ?
Please also add more info about your system, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

@mitu both...I have roms(on the sd card and not)now showing in when I boot retropie(like the atari 5200 which I do not have have on the sd card). Roms I do have, like scummvm, doesnt now show..none of the roms that actually do show up , doesnt work...
Looking at the files via ftp there is noe changes in the folder except the new folder from scraping in each rom-folder with games(ergo, not atari 5200 which is now loaded on boot and show games, which again I can not play)...

@filmelskeren Please add the info asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
Do you have a custom
es_systems.cfg
? Do you have the 'Parse Gamelist Only' option set in EmulationStation ?
Can you post thegamelist.xml
for the Atari5200 system - the one that shows the games which are not there - on pastebin.com ?
It should be either in theroms/atari5200
folder or in/opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists/atari5200

@mitu 'parse gamelist only' was apperently turned on for some reason, and it fixed the problem π thanks
