Game Boy Zero
-
My Game Boy DMG-01 build, with a Raspberry Pi Zero and a real game cartridge for the SD card adaptor. Pretty happy with the results!
-
@wermy very nice! Which display did you use?
-
@BuZz Thanks! It's a 3.5" composite display from Adafruit (you can probably scavenge a similar one from a backup camera or something). Parts list is in the description.
-
@wermy sorry, didn't check the description. Thanks for the info

This looks really well done. Could you explain how you handle sound? Specifically I'm not sure how to build an audio sensing headphone jack to mute an internal speaker when headphones are connected. I have much more space in my project (building inside an old Macintosh Classic) so I just used a USB audio card connected to some computer speakers, but it's something I'd love to improve.

Thats really impressive! A really well finished and polished project.
You must be very happy with the results. -
Hi,
any recommendation for the "PowerBoost 1000 Charger - Rechargeable 5V Lipo USB Boost @ 1A" from Adafruit?
Considering that i won't use a Pi Zero which is out of stock everywhere locally
i will try to use a Pi 3Thank you in advance
Cheers

Not sure if everythng will fit if you're using a Pi3 in a DMG case but you could consider separate charger and booster circuits.
