      Hi everyone !

After trying many distros and tweaking quite a lot I'm pretty sure I'm gonna settle down with RetroPie (currently under a Pi 3) :)

I only have one issue : I obtain a good speed with dosbox (dynamic) and a pretty good picture using the tv2x scaler (would be perfect with a pixel shader, maybe in the future with libretro-dosbox !). But, there is terrible screen tearing (no vsync / no double buffering), which almost prevents from playing games with scrollings. (which is very difficult for an ex Amiga user like me :)

I figured out the "fulldouble" & "fullscreen" options were probably required but they made no difference. I tried to switch to the dispmanx SDL and tearing apparently disappeared ! However, emulation suddenly turned EXTREMELY slow.

Do you know if there is a solution to this problem ?

Thanks a lot to everyone involved :)

I use my Pi for DOS games all the time and I don't notice any tearing. The only setting I changed was RAM which I took from 16 to 32 so I could play Blood.
