Epic Noir - Dark Mode Theme

@chicuelo HI! Would be possible to create a version following the RA convention?
B -> Select/Enter
A -> Back/Return
Y -> Favorite
Thanks for the amazing theme! -

@nil06 One thing that it might not be supported by Recalbox is theme variables, which I think your theme uses (i.e.
${system.theme}
).The available themes on their repository don't seem to use variables, but unless we tried we wouldn't know for sure if they work or not.
It appears that their themes get the system logo (or text label) directly from each system's xml with the following code:
<image name="logo"> <path>./data/logo.svg</path> </image>
Since this label is standardized, it would be trivial to add it to all the systems' xml files and make logos out of the text labels.
The real issue is that I am running RP emulationstation and I can't really be bothered to build the recalbox ES just for checking out the code.

@mitu No batocera.linux forked the RetroPie branch. Don't know what RB did...
@nil06 The version you point to is a decrepated one RB codes are now on gitlabI know. I had already seen their new repository in gitlab, but the theme code in the updated repo is still identical to the old one.

Sure, I wasn't the one requesting a Recalbox compatible version. If someone using it wants to port, I guess they can submit a PR to add the specific RB theme version to your repository.

Me neither :) There is no "Call of Duty" if someone wants a new feature ;)

@chicuelo happy to help with any arts you may need by the way! :)

@rand0m Thanks! we are glad you enjoy the theme!

The theme is now available via Es menu!
-
@chicuelo ES menu?
As in Retropie setup menu you mean? -
@GeekOB yes, RP setup
-
@chicuelo As far as I know, theme is not yet available from RP setup as PR is still open:
-
@svera Ohh, we will have to wait a while so, meanwhile its available to download manually!

Awesome theme. This theme is just what I have been looking for so long. It works but has some minor flaws. This is from my Raspberry Pi 3B and I pulled from the git repository as the instructions told me to.
First on FinalBurn Alpha. the font or image is not rendered correctly. see picture
Second. After I have added Wonderswan and Wonderswan Color as systems, the
Wonderswan Color text
shows up as ghosting on some of the other systems pages. See the pictures and notice the ghosting in Virtual Boy and Wonderswan.
-
@tpo1990 Final burn alpha is a type size issue, the ALPHA word is rendered like that due a size support. I will check it, wonderswan and virtual boy I have no idea whats going on, are the only two who happen this? or other one line name do this too?
-
@tpo1990 What resolution are you using ?
-
Have to give props like everyone else, this is a beautifully clean and well thought out theme.
I am running the Damaso nostalgia trip v2 image on my pi4 and would love to see everything on there supported. Here is what I can tell is not displaying any art or titles:
Atomiswave
Naomi
Openbor
Nintendo Hacks
Super Nintendo Hacks
PCFX
PSP Minis
Genesis HacksPast that, it's awesome and keep up the good work!

3rd Party project ripoffs are not supported here.
-
@Thorr69 Sorry about that. Ignore me then! I know it's based off the Supreme build but wasn't sure how others felt on it. >_<
