I bought a raspberry pi off a friend and it has retro pie with emulators, I have PlayStation games on it, final fantasy 7 for example and I’m unable to save state or if I save on the “memory card” the traditional way it saves but once I exit the game and load it again it’s gone. When I try to save state it says task failed: save state. I’m very new to this so have no idea about it. Thanks I’m advance for any help.

@rbaker sorry I do apologise, as I said I don’t really know much about this so will give as much info as I possibly can.

          Raspberry pi 3b
Power supply 5v3a micro usb switch
Xeox pro analog game pad usb
I’m not sure how to find out which version of pie I am running.
The problem I’m having is with saving states
The error that comes up is “task failed: saving state”
Anything else I need to answer before you’re able to help I’ll try my best to do so and apologise for my inexperience.

@rbaker I believe the emulator I’m using is a retro arch one.

@Sjdhydoc said in Help with saving:

              task failed: saving state

Exit Emulationstation and you'll see the disk space usage shown before the prompt. If you're near 100%, then you might have a disk full situation so cannot save?
