Rook's Collection O' Splash Screens
-
And next was NES "The Legend of Zelda"
-
Next in line is a splash that almost no one saw. I took the Mushberry and created it in Blender and rendered this.
-
Next was a request from a user on Youtube for a custom Pokemon Yellow splashscreen with Pixel background.
-
Then I finally did a widescreen Super Mario World.
-
After SMW, I did the Arcade version of Ghouls and Goblins. This one came out great. I had to re-draw all of the areas that the original text hid. :D
-
Back to Genesis for Revenge of Shinobi.
-
Then I painted this splashscreen from Earthworm Jim. Used Paint Tool Sai and a Wacom Bamboo.
-
Then one of my favorites... Super Castlevania 4 for SNES. I suck at the game, but the title screen is so amazing. I had so much fun making this widescreen and re-creating the C into an R.
-
Next up, the Gameboy Tetris. Spruced it up a little since the resolution of the GB is so low.
-
Then the Genesis Game Genie.
-
Then the arcade Out Run. This was one of the hardest splash screens to create. The font was hard to reproduce, and I had to create the widescreen area graphics. >_<
-
Mario Paint, haha, this one was so easy.
-
Then I did Earthbound, not realizing lilbud had already done one. Sorry!
-
Then I did Harvest Moon in Blender, just to be different.
-
Then I did an HD Puzzle Bobble using Adobe Illustrator.
-
Then "Winners Don't Take Drugs" widescreen splashscreen for arcade pi users.
-
Then a fancy Super Mario Bros. 2 splashscreen.
-
Then the DOS version of Out of This World.
-
Then a Super Mario 64 splash screen and video. Rendered in Blender.

-
Then an HD Shadowrun cover. The "R" graphic took FOREVER.
