Hi there - I'm a brand new user here (have had a rpi4 for some time, and jumped on this when I saw Retropie 4.6 released - nice work!).

I have a SNES USB controller I'm using and I'm trying to figure out how to map the controls to N64 controls to allow. The only core that's working for me with N64 is lr-mupen64plus-next, so I've been dabbling with modifying my retroarch.cfg but I can't for the life of me get it to work.

I'm coming from Lakka, where I was able to map a button to multiple commands (e.g. the left d-pad maps to both the N64 d-pad right AND the left analog right) and could play N64 just fine. I can't figure out which command to use in the retroarch.cfg to get the left analog stick setup for N64 - I've tried things like below but can't seem to get it to work (e.g. for the left analog right):

      input_player1_l_x_plus
      input_player1_right_btn
      input_player1_right_axis

      Would love any help!

UPDATE: figured it out! I had to use the following to get it to work - all set!

      input_player1_l_x_plus_axis
      input_player1_l_x_minus_axis
      input_player1_l_y_plus_axis
      input_player1_l_y_minus_axis

Can you share your InputAutoCfg.ini and the file where you configure the input? I ve exactly the same issue and I can't figure it out!

@lupsyn Those settings are for the Libretro core, not for the standalone Mupen64 emulator. Did you try running your games with the lr-mupen64plus or lr-mupen64plus-nx cores ?
