      hello @mitu
      Hello,
I looked for my emulator it is: emulationstation V2.9.1RP
and I tried the "CARBON" theme but it does the same.
I also have the same problem with N64

How did you install the system ? Did you use the image from retropie.org.uk/download or another image ?

Do you have video previews enabled in EmulationStation ?

EDIT: can you find the \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\es_systems.cfg file and post its contents here in the topic ?

@shura-3275 How did you copy your ROMs over to the Pi ?
Did you use the file shares method described here ?

If you have a PC (with Windows installed), just open Windows file explorer and type \\retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\ in the location input. If asked for a user/password, use pi/raspberry. This should open a folder, where you can find the configuration file I asked.

Almost. I'm going to ask you again - what image did you use to install RetroPie ? This doesn't look like a stock image you would download from retropie.org.uk/download.

Somehow I'm not convinced you're running an official RetroPie image.

                      • your system has a custom es_systems.cfg that's doesn't exist by default on a RetroPie stock image. You need to create one manually and copy it to the folder that you just had trouble opening.
                      • if you'd have used the RetroPie image that your screenshots shows, you wouldn't had the login issue from the other topic you opened.

As the https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first states, we don't support 3rd party images.

the image is well downloaded on the site but considering what you tell me I think I know why ....
the roms, bios etc ... come from a friend of which I have copy on my PC and after having downloaded the image I have copy roms, bios ..... on my raspberry via cable rj45.
I also copied her configs, splashcreen. maybe I would only copy roms and bios and not the rest ???,

@mitu is there a way to change something from "configs" or do you think i have to start from the beginning and insert only roms and bios ??

I suggest you start with a fresh image and add your ROMs/BIOS files, leaving the configurations alone for this first step.
