      Hi! I see this and I think the emulators like psone, snes or other can be upgraded using this method, I dont know how! but I think is really cool add this feature to upgrade the textures of the games! (I think the forum can make one script to upgrade the resolutions (I think is too low process but when the process is done the result is awesome!)

        i believe the PC version of FF7 permits the easier injection of higher resolution backdrops and movie files. for raspberry pi, you're stuck with playstation versions. re-texturing PS1 games is not trivial, but it is being worked on: https://github.com/libretro/beetle-psx-libretro/issues/492 (this particular emulator is not functioning well on pi right now but i am optimistic for the future)

        idk if there's a linux port of FF7 but if there is, presumably it could receive the same treatment and be ported to retropie.
