How to install rice on mupen64plus?

I want to install hd texture pack to super mario 64 and enable widescreen hack, for both i need rice video plugin, how to do it? (I am use Linux Ubuntu with latest retropie) Plus for some reason when i select GLideN64 there is a black screen,(there is sound) but i installed lr-mupen64plus and when i select it there is screen. Tried installing it from script from github, but it says:
Makefile:259: *** Mupen64Plus API header files not found! Use makefile parameter APIDIR to force a location.. Stop.My gpu: nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti (i have latest drivers installed)
Edit: i found this post, but it does not helped me.
