themes could be zipped
-
I have retropie put together that has quite a few themes and then set to random on boot.
I have noticed 3gigs worth of theme content takes up about 30 gigs of space on an SD card. i'm thinking it would be better to have all available themes zipped up and then active theme unzipped in a "activetheme" directory. ES can unzip and move things around when the theme is changed.
On top of this I cycled through multiple themes and noticed my pi slow down A TON. I haven't looked into it too much but i have a feeling (thx black eyed peas :P) that every theme that is loaded is stored in RAM and never released??
This is all random improvement stuff that possibly very few people have to deal with.
Anyone have any thoughts or input on this?
