need help putting roms on my retropie

ok so i got the latest retropie setup on my raspberry pie 2, and i followed the guide for how to put the roms on my usb device. but since my usb device is only a 1gig usb thumb drive how do i transfer the roms from the usb drive to my internal 16gig SD card that has the retropie os on it? btw this is my first time using this so im new

I prefer do it copying directly by network using samba service.

@Russelkm can i use a program like flashFXP to ftp the files over to the sd card or no?

@kaitlin4599 you can sftp yes. User is pi (unless you set up password for root) password is raspberry

@edmaul69 how do i find out the ip address for the pi so i can sftp

@kaitlin4599 in emulationstation go to retropie settings go to wifi setup. Set up the wifi. Then it will show you the ip address. Or if you are wired just go into retropie sttings and click on show ip address.

@edmaul69 thanks i would assume i would just copy the folders from the root of my usb drive and FTP them to the root of my sd card correct if not where do i ftp them to

On the pi sd card you need to put your roms in their correct folders at /home/pi/RetroPie/roms
