Sorry for not reading and for not posting on the forum first :(((((

Since a few days and after I've ran through the Controller Configuration of ES again, I see that now to select item under ES I have to press the B button (red) of my X360wi controller instead of A (green- which was the case before). And now A is to cancel or go back to previous level (instead of B previously). It's a bit confusing to be honest and I'm not sure if this is desired behavior.

      Config:

      • RPI 2
      • RP 4.0 beta 3
      • steps to reproduce: after RP update is done, within ES go to Controller Config and do the whole setup over. Then A will become B and B will be A.

There is no problem here - and this is the default behaviour if you map them as described on the wiki (on a snes pad it would be the same button positions, but A / B are swapped on the controller)

If you want to swap them for ES only, you can change the setting in autoconf.cfg - es_swap_a_b = "1" (and then reconfigure the controller)

The button you mapped as A is button A in the ES config as expected. Perhaps you mapped them the wrong way round before.

        undefined

          Thanks a lot, I didn't know about the es_swap_a_b = "1" option. It's ok now I feel better :)
