      hello people of the pi, ive never used a pi or retropie before, though have used retroarch on my pc, anyway, is there an image for the pi 3a plus ? or do i need to install linux and install it that way ? ive not used terminal before , is it easy enough ? all i want to play is 8 and 16 bit, afew old arcade roms and a few playstation games

      btw i did do a search but im still baffled

        You can download a pre-made image and write it to your sd card. Just head over to
        https://retropie.org.uk/download/
        and download the image for the Raspberry Pi 2/3.

        Be sure to read the page of instruction on how to get started as well.
